Path of Shadows is an 8-bit, Aztec-themed platformer created as a prototype for the 8 Bits to Infinity game jam. The game draws inspiration from ancient mythology, centering on the sacred obsidian mirror, a powerful artifact forged by the god Tezcatlipoca. Said to reveal the essence of one's soul—including fears and regrets—the mirror serves as the ultimate trial for those seeking the gods' favor.

In this fast-paced platformer, you play as a daring seeker navigating treacherous ruins filled with shadowy clones summoned by the obsidian mirror. These clones mimic your every move, turning your own actions into obstacles as you race to complete the trial. The stakes are high, as every second brings new challenges and every movement could mean the difference between success and failure.
