Take Control of a Living Conway System in a Chaotic Multiplayer Arena

Grid Gambit is a chaotic multiplayer territory-control experiment where you battle for dominance inside a living Conway’s Game of Life simulation. Created for the GDevelop Big Game Jam #8 under the theme “Take Control”, this demo showcases Conway-driven hazards, persistent multiplayer, and the ability to ultimately seize control of the system itself.

WASD to move, Space to Flip Conway Grid On/Off, F to fire a Conway Bullet that will turn off conway it hits. 

Capture 2 outer bases then the Central Control Point to take control of the server Conway AI controls. Pause, Resume, Load Presets, and even it with an editor. 


In Tangled Sky, two crews face off in an Airship Tug-of-War, a chaotic battle of repairs, sabotage, and sheer grit. With battered ships and wild tactics, each team races to power up their airship and pull the other across the line. In this sky-high showdown, only one crew will emerge victorious—or be left tangled in the clouds.

How to Play
Teams and Objective
- Players are split into Red Team (left) and Blue Team (right).
- Tug the rope and pull the enemy airship across your team's finish line (-300 or +300) to win!

Power Your Ship
- Crates power the Furnace to increase your ship's pull strength.
- Damage reduces power. Use crates to Repair Damage and regain strength.

Attack the Enemy
- Cannonballs are stored in your ship.
- Carry one at a time to the Cannon to damage the enemy's airship and weaken their pull.

Crate Collection
- Use your ship's Hookshot to grab floating crates from balloons that spawn every 10-25 seconds.
- Replenish your ship's crate supply (max 6).

The Tug of War
- Keep your Power high and Damage low to maximize pull.
- Balance repairs, furnace fueling, and attacks for victory!

Multiplayer
- Up to 8 players (1-8) can join, divided evenly between teams. Coordinate and strategize with your team!

Icons:
Furnace: Powers your ship. Keep it fueled!
Cannonball Stack: Grab cannonballs to attack.
Damage Spots: Repair these to restore pulling power.
Hookshot: Use it to grab balloon crates.

Built for Mini Jam 199 under the limitation “Roll the Dice.”
Overscoped and didn't time manage, but wanted to submit it anyway. 

Fall in Line is a physics-based puzzle game where falling blocks aren’t just blocks… they’re dice. Flip them, and align matching faces before the board fills up.

Move over the dice to highlight them. Space to flip the dice back. Create lines of the same face to score points. 

Level 1 goal is 4 ones in a row

Level 2 goal is 5 sixes in a row.

I did not have time to add additional levels, but might after the jam lock up.
